The All-New LegalWorks: First Look

A first look at the all-new version of Uptime LegalWorks.

Last month we announced the development of a completely new, rebuilt-from-scratch version of Uptime LegalWorks.

As we described then, this isn’t just a modest update or next version of LegalWorks. We’re building an entirely new application, from the ground up, born in the cloud and built for law firms. The New LegalWorks will include all of the popular functionality from the current version of and more.

A lot more.

As we get closer to launch, we thought we’d take a moment to give everyone a sneak-peek of this new document management system.

Let’s dive in.

A Modernized, Streamlined Interface

The current version of LegalWorks looks good, but we wanted the new LegalWorks to look great. To that end, we’ve carefully designed the new LegalWorks interface to be sleek, modern and easy to navigate.

Our plan is to keep pricing the same or comparable, but increase the amount of storage included in your plan by default.

Probably. We plan to release an early-access version of the New LegalWorks in Q4, so that you can get your hands on it ASAP

Absolutely. We’ll migrate you from your current LegalWorks to the New LegalWorks system when you’re ready, at no additional cost.

The New LegalWorks will not be built on SharePoint. We’re building New LegalWorks from the ground up using modern cloud technologies like React, Javascript and AWS.

Planning is still early, but we do plan to develop a track and allow IT and software consultants to become LegalWorks Certified Consultants (working title) early 2020. This will allow participating consultants to move their clients to the New LegalWorks.

We’re happy to talk more about New LegalWorks. Post your questions below, or drop us a line at [email protected].
